We have been closely monitoring weather conditions and conferring with other local agencies and our operational staff. All D303 schools will be open and operating on a normal schedule tomorrow–Tuesday, Jan. 21. We anticipate and are working to ensure regular operations on our busing routes and in our school buildings. We encourage staff and families to dress for subzero temperatures. As always, families have the option of keeping their children home if they believe the weather is too cold to be outside.
Welcome to the Transition Program webpage. Beginning with the 2024-2025 school year, the Transition Program will be relocated to Lincoln School, 211 South 6th Avenue in St. Charles.
Community Unit School District 303 strives to increase individualized levels of independence across academic, community, and vocational settings. We offer a range of transition programming to meet the needs of individual learners. Although the foundations for transition programming are laid during elementary and middle
school years, IEP teams typically make data-informed transition programming decisions during the Spring of the individual's senior year. Below you will find a graphic depicting the continuum of district provided programming for students ages 18-22.
